Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, Sami and Bernice have been vital to the leadership team here at Summit. They are the proud parents of their two miracles, Nathan and Jeremy.
Bernice has been part of the Assemblies of God where she served on the leadership team in her local church as well as in College. She has ministered through prayer, intercession, outreach, and small groups. She met her husband, Sami, in college back home, and they came together to the States to attend graduate school in Texas. Bernice enjoys reading, worship songs, and spending time with family. Here at the Summit, Bernice pastors the Mosaic ministry with her husband, and leads the Prayer and Healing Room Ministries. Her deepest passion is to pursue intimacy and God’s presence that yields a tangible manifestation of His glory in any given situation. Releasing Kingdom one person at a time!
Sami served in his local church in Ghana as a youth leader and on the worship team. He also served on the leadership of the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry (AGCM) while in College. Sami has a gift of seeing the word in a new and fresh way and articulating it to challenge the congregation. He is the newest addition to the COE (Counsel of Elders) and pastors the Mosaic small group ministry with his wife Bernice.
